The Blazing Saddle

The Blazing Saddle is the oldest gay bar in Iowa, and you can't get any more liberal than a gay bar. In the heart of the Des Moines' East Village, The Saddle is known for strong drinks at reasonable prices, and it's always a great time. The Saddle is open 365 days a year, there's a happy hour from 2-8 p.m. (M-F) and a dance bar that's open four nights a week.
